HOT-GO PARK THEME PARK

“The role of the designer is that of a good, thoughtful host anticipating the needs of his guests.” –Charles Eames

ROLE: Creative Director

COMPANY: Thinkwell Group

The provided sample is based on a theme park design project where I served as the lead Creative Director. Over a period of 3 months, I coordinated with a team of 20+ designers, landscape architects, 3D modelers, illustrators, and show set designers in Beijing, China. Together, we worked on revitalizing an existing theme park to meet the client's demands, which included the addition of a cultural area, wedding centers, new attractions and shows, and an overall cohesive theme. Following a site visit, I crafted a narrative treatment for the park's new story, incorporating diverse attractions and experiences that spanned real and imaginary lands. From the vibrant streets of South America to an ancient Chinese village and a fantastical forest teeming with new characters, the new park's storyline aimed to captivate visitors. To further enrich the park's narrative, additional attractions, and shows were integrated to reestablish the park's prominence in the public eye.

Below are different designs, illustrations, master plans, and models that I oversaw the development of in order to make this new park I created in my head, a reality for our client.
